Player Code of Conduct

Players have a huge role to play in promoting the Sheffield & District Fair Play League. The League is run for the benefit of its players and it is those who play the game that provide the public image of the whole League.

The Code of Conduct forms the basic list of expectations of players in the Sheffield & District Fair Play League:

> Players are to treat each other with respect at all times, both on and off the field

> Players are to treat match officials, management and supporters with respect at all times, both on and off the field

> Players are to adhere to the rules and laws of the FA and the SDFPL

> Players will listen to their managers and respect decisions made by those in authority over them

> Players will not engage in offensive, insulting or abusive language or behaviour

> Players will avoid bullying, intimidation and poor behaviour

> Players will shake hands with the opposing team and the match officials at the end of every game

> Players will play the game in the spirit of fair play
